Overview
As Microsoft 365 Copilot expands its extensibility platform, ensuring operational excellence in the agent publishing pipeline has become critical. With a growing ecosystem of internal and external developers submitting agents, there is a need for a centralised solution to track key operational metrics across the publishing lifecycle.
Currently, stakeholders, including Product & Ops team, Developers, Third-Party Security & Compliance Vendors, Business & Leadership Team, face the following challenges:
● Stakeholders have no unified view of the full agent publishing lifecycle, making it difficult to track submissions, approvals, quality indicators, and SLAs in one place.
● Limited access to real-time and historical insights and data, prevents the ability to detect bottlenecks, resolve issues quickly, and make informed decisions.
● With inconsistent metrics and monitoring, subpar agents may reach end users, and the ecosystem cannot scale confidently as submission volume increases.
The challenge is to design a solution that offers quick, actionable insights across these metrics, supports both real-time and historical tracking, leverages generative AI for intelligent summaries and recommendations, and is easily accessible to all stakeholders regardless of their technical proficiency.
