The interview started with my self-introduction.

Assignment Details
Topic: As part of the product road map, in the existing Lead Management system solution, a new module needs to be incorporated. A notification module using which the sales team can send notifications to the dealers and these notifications should be visible in the existing application. Notifications will be text notifications only and this will be around product launches, app updates, meetings, etc.
Following is the hierarchy followed in the product
National Sales Head -> Zonal Manager -> Regional Manager -> Area Manager -> Dealer Owner -> Dealer Sales Manager -> Dealer executive
So, the requirement is that the people above Dealer Sales Manager should be able to send notifications via web panel and the notifications should be visible in the application. Roles above Dealer Sales Manager already have access to the web panel where we have given other functionalities and this will be one more functionality in the portal. Similarly, all the roles have access to the application as well. This new functionality needs to be incorporated into the same application.
Expectations:
Assignment to be submitted in PDF or word format. (4-5 pages). This should be a ready document using which the tech team can start their development.
Following sections must be covered in the document - Purpose, Functional flow, Role configuration (if any), Screens(Wireframes), Assumptions, (You may add other sections based on regular practices.
